Words of Deliverance Christian Church Inc.
It was over fifteen years ago when the Lord spoke to our founder, Bishop J. A. Rollinson, in a dream concerning the color of the building and the name of the church. The ministry was originally named Words of Deliverance Outreach Ministries. As time went on, Bishop received a phone call from a close friend—one he considers a sister—Pastor Janice Mack. Pastor Mack asked Minister Jerel, at that time, “Would you be interested in the building that I am currently occupying? I will be moving to another location.” Through much prayer and fasting before the Lord, Bishop gladly accepted the offer in January of 2010. Words of Deliverance Outreach Ministries held its first service on Sunday, February 7, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at 1506 Shelby Road, Kings Mountain, N.C. 28086. God was truly glorified, the ministry began to grow, and people were being saved, healed, and changed for the better. As the years went on and God continued to bless as only He could, in 2012 the Lord saw fit to bless the church once more with its current facility at 1409 Bessemer City–Kings Mountain Highway, Bessemer City, N.C. 28016. When Words of Deliverance Outreach Ministries moved to this new location, the Lord then instructed our pastor, Bishop Rollinson, to change the name to Words of Deliverance Christian Church. There is still more to come and many more doors that God will open. Words of Deliverance will forever be grateful to Pastor Janice Mack for her obedience, for reaching out, and for making a way for Words of Deliverance to become more than just a dream or a vision. We are still Transforming for Better!
